神経学は、その歴史を通じて積み上げられた一つの体系です。原著に触れることで、歴史上の神経学者の思想に触れることができますし、その観察眼に驚かされます。ところが、膨大な原著は、どれもあまりに古いため、医学論文の検索システムで、掲載誌などの情報を得ることができません。そこで、こうした論文の著者、論文タイトル、掲載誌、発行年などの情報をリストとして記した論文を豊倉先生が発表されました。

はじめに

神経学の領域では、疾患の種類がはなはだ多く、徴候、症候群の数もおびただしい数にのぼる。そして、これらの記載は神経学の確立と発展を着実に基礎づけてきた重要な記念碑である。著者は約２０年前から、これらの原著または古典的な論文のコピーを、折にふれ少しづつ蒐集してきたが、このたび研究者の便宜のために、不完全なことは覚悟の上、そのリストを掲載してゆくことにした。
